Question
My husband has been acting differently, and I don't know what's wrong with him. Ever since I entered the eighth month of pregnancy and my appearance has changed, he tells me: 'I can tolerate you' and similar remarks, even though I am much more beautiful than him. This is not my main problem; my problem is that he doesn't talk to me at home as if I were a stranger. I try to keep myself busy with my children, in addition to my work outside the home. What should I do? My mental state is at its lowest with the approaching birth and my children's exams. I hope for advice.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You should increase your kindness towards him and be gentle with him, along with prayer and patience. It is common for relationships between spouses to experience tension for a period, and it requires wisdom. And God knows best.
