Cutting off a sister due to repeated abuse
My older sister brings nothing but evil, malice, and harm to me, my siblings, and my mother. We have tried very hard with kindness, religion, and everything, but she only gets worse. She also harms us with her words in front of our husbands' families and has done many hurtful actions that don't need to be mentioned. Is it forbidden for us to cut her off?

I say, and with God's help: Cutting off ties of kinship is forbidden, but you can limit your relationship with them to something that reduces their harm to you. You should continue to treat them kindly, hoping that God Almighty will guide them to His path. And God knows best.
