Custody of Children After the Marriage of a Widow
If a widow with children remarries, is it permissible for those children to live with her and her husband in the same house, or do their paternal grandparents have the right to raise the children with them?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If a widow marries someone foreign to her children, her custody will be forfeited, and custody will pass to the next in line, which is the maternal grandmother, then the paternal grandmother. And God knows best.
