Considering the Residence as Part of the Threshold of Deprivation

Question
Is the house that a person lives in considered surplus to their original needs and does it prevent them from receiving Zakat al-Fitr?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The Zakat al-Fitr is obligatory for anyone who possesses the Nisab of freedom, which is (100) grams of gold, in excess of their basic needs. Additionally, one is prohibited from receiving Zakat and charity when possessing this amount of the Nisab. The house in which a person lives is not considered excess beyond their basic needs, and God knows best.
