Congratulating Christians on Their Holidays and Decorating the House with a Christmas Tree

Question
What is the ruling on congratulating non-Muslims on their holidays, specifically 'Christmas'? And what is the ruling on decorating the house with a Christmas tree?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to congratulate non-Muslims on their holidays with phrases that do not contradict the beliefs of Muslims, while feeling the pride of Islam. It is not permissible to decorate the house with a Christmas tree; because it is a disapproved imitation of them for Muslims, and because it is a symbol of non-Muslims, it is not permissible for a Muslim. And God knows best.
