Question
A woman has a small amount of money and wants to pay its Zakat since a year has passed on it, knowing that she works and contributes part of her salary to the household expenses regularly. Does she have to pay Zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Zakat is obligatory for anyone who possesses the amount of the nisab, which is the value of (100) grams of gold. If one possesses that amount and a year has passed, then zakat is obligatory; otherwise, it is not. And God knows best.
