Condition of Keeping the Car Mortgaged Until Paying Its Installments
I want to buy a car but I don't have money. Someone offered to buy it for me and sell it to me in installments, keeping it mortgaged to him until I pay the installments and registering it in my name. What is the ruling on this transaction?

I say, and with God's guidance: This form of murabaha is what Islamic banks do, and it is permissible, and God knows best.
