Question
Regarding these fatwas, they are based on only one school of thought, which restricts the flexibility in religion. In Egypt, we have some differing opinions, such as that bleeding breaks the ablution. We want all opinions due to the diversity of countries, or at least the opinion of the majority to make it easier for people. The companions used to pray with their wounds. What is your opinion?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: You must adhere to one school of thought so that you do not experience confusion and disorder. The school of thought that God makes easy for you to study and that is easier for you in practice and application is the one you can stick to. The Hanafi school is considered the school of the general public, and it is very easy to apply. As you can see, the fatwas are very accessible and can be followed by everyone without any embarrassment. If the fatwa were based on the majority or contemporary jurisprudence, matters would become more complicated and difficult. This method is the one that the nation has followed throughout history, while others are considered a scientific error. And God knows best.
