Commentary on a Vow Regarding the Healing of a Patient
Three years ago, my husband fell ill and suffered a stroke due to distress. I said, 'O Lord, if You heal my husband, I will sacrifice an animal.' Is this considered a vow?

I say, and with God's success: this is a conditional vow, and it is obligatory to sacrifice if the condition is met, and God knows best.
