Combining Two Intentions in Slaughtering
Is it permissible to combine the intention of aaqiqah with the intention of charity?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The aqeeqah is a type of act of worship for Allah, like charity, so there is no need for two intentions; rather, it requires sincerity of intention for Allah, and Allah knows best.
