Combining the Intention of Shawwal and Qada
If someone wants to fast six days after Ramadan and has missed some days of Ramadan, will they receive the reward for the six days if they fast with the intention of making up for the missed days?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: it is not permissible to combine the intention of making up a missed prayer and a voluntary prayer; rather, one must specify one of them, and God knows best.
