Question

I am a student at Tafila University. On the day of departure to catch the buses, I intend to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers in advance before traveling. Sometimes the Dhuhr and Asr prayers are called while I am in Tafila before leaving. Is this permissible?

Answer

I say, and with God's help: The rulings of travel do not begin before leaving the building, so it is not permissible to shorten the prayer, for example, before that, and God knows best.
