Collecting Donations for the People of Palestine from Zakat
Is it permissible to collect donations for our people in Palestine from zakat funds, or only from charity funds?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible from the zakat funds on the condition that the one who pays informs that it is zakat money so that it is given to the poor, and God knows best.
