Clarification of the Hadith on the Supererogatory Acts by which a Servant Draws Closer to Allah, the Exalted
The noble prophetic hadith: 'My servant continues to draw near to Me through supererogatory acts until I love him,' is it limited to the supererogatory prayers, or is it more comprehensive and broader than that?
Answer
: I say, and with God's success: The hadith includes the regular Sunnah prayers for the prayers and other voluntary acts, and God knows best.
