Child Support from Drug Trafficking
A divorced woman has a daughter, and her ex-husband pays child support for their daughter. She heard that her ex-husband is involved in drug trafficking. Is the child support that her daughter receives from her father considered haram?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If it is proven that the father's wealth comes from drugs, then his earnings are impure, and it is not permissible to benefit from it. It must be given in charity, and it is not permissible to spend on the daughter from it. And God knows best.
