Changing the Supplication for Destiny 'God's Prior Knowledge'
Why do we ask Allah for things that are already written with Him, that He knows about, and that will happen to us?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: We call upon Him in worship and humility, not to inform Him, the Exalted; for He knows the secret and what is even more hidden. Therefore, it is preferable for the supplication to be general and not detailed, and God knows best.
