Changing the Endowment's Beneficiary
What is the ruling on changing the beneficiary of an endowment, such as land endowed for the mosque? Is it permissible to change its beneficiary to the poor and needy?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to change its fund if there are no individuals left, otherwise it is necessary to adhere to the fund, and God knows best.
