Changing Intention in Prayer
A person intended to increase the number of rak'ahs in the Taraweeh prayer, but felt tired. Can he change his intention from the Taraweeh prayer to the Witr prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to change the intention from one prayer to another during the prayer, and after changing the intention, the new prayer is considered valid for him, and God knows best.
