Camel Herding for Carrying and Riding
Does someone who has camels that they herd for carrying and riding have to pay zakat on them?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: There is no zakat on it; because it is a condition for the obligation of zakat on camels that they are grazed for milk and offspring, not for carrying and riding, and God knows best.
