Calculating the Mourning Period
My question is about the mourning period for a woman whose husband has passed away. When does it end, according to the Hijri or Gregorian calendar? Can someone calculate it for me? My husband passed away on 21/4, which was the 9th of Ramadan. When does the mourning period end?

I say, and with God's help: The waiting period ends after four months and ten days in the lunar calendar, not in the Gregorian calendar. Since the lunar month is between twenty-nine and thirty days, it is calculated based on this reality. So whenever you complete it based on the estimation of the month like this or like that, the waiting period ends. And God knows best.
