Buying Tangible Items with Zakat Money
We donate zakat money to fundraising campaigns sent to Gaza where they buy goods and send them to them. Is zakat in this form acceptable?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If ownership is granted to the poor of these goods, it is permissible to give zakat funds in the form of tangible items, and God knows best.
