Building a Water Well in the Spirit of the Companions
Is it permissible for me to build a water well and write on it that it is for Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, or for one of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them? Or is the intention in the heart sufficient without writing?

I say, and with God's success: both are permissible, the intention in the heart or writing it down. May God reward you all the best for that, and God knows best.
