Breaking an Oath
I am someone who heard that plucking eyebrows is forbidden, and I swore that I would not pluck them. Now I have read the fatwas, and it was said that the excess can be plucked, and my eyebrows have excess. What should I do? Should I continue or pay a compensation?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You can pay a compensation which is twenty dinars for ten needy people, and you can do with your eyebrows what makes them in the usual appearance, so that there is no adornment for strangers, and God knows best.
