Bleeding Due to Internal Examination
A woman went to the doctor who performed an internal examination and took a cervical swab using a device. After the examination, she experienced bleeding. Does this break her fast?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The vagina is not a valid passage to the interior, and taking a smear from the cervix does not break the fast. The blood that came out after the examination is the blood of a wound, "blood of corruption," which only nullifies the ablution. Your fasting is valid, and God knows best.
