Question
I want to inquire about the ruling on birthdays, whether celebrating them or participating in others' parties?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Birthdays, if what is done in them includes good deeds such as reading the Quran, remembrance, permissible songs, halal food, or sweets, are permissible; because they bring joy to the children. They become prohibited by Islamic law if they involve forbidden acts such as music, prohibited singing, mixing, or others. And God knows best.
