Benefiting from an Orphan's Wealth

Question
I am a mother of orphans with two children. I remarried after my husband's death, and my children are in my custody and live with me in the same house. They receive a pension of 276 dinars from their father. My husband is an employee and receives a salary. Is it permissible to mix my orphans' salary with my husband's salary and spend it entirely on housing, food, drink, etc.? Knowing that my husband treats them as if they were his own children and provides them with everything they need and does not fall short in any matter concerning them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You should calculate the expenses for the children, including housing, clothing, and food, and take it from their money, while the remainder should be preserved for them, and it is not permissible to take from it for others. And God knows best.
