I say, and with God's success: The duration of wiping begins from the time of the event for both the traveler and the resident, so the time of putting on the socks and the time of ablution are not considered; because before the event there is no need for wiping. The time in which wiping is needed is from the time of the event, as it is the time that prevents the event from affecting the foot, and it is the time of the concession, so it is more deserving of consideration than the time of wearing and the time of purification.
