Banks That Are Permissible to Deal With
What are the banks that it is permissible to deal with other than Islamic banks, for example, Jordan Islamic Bank, Arab Islamic Bank? Do not say according to their transactions; we do not understand what their transactions are. We want permission to deal with specific banks.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: All these Islamic banks are governed by a specialized Sharia Supervisory Committee that verifies all our transactions to ensure they comply with the rulings of Islamic law. It is permissible to deal with all Islamic banks, and God knows best.
