Atonement for Eating Food Mixed with Wine
We visited our neighbors' house, and they offered us chocolate and sweets that contained cherries, which are known to always be made with wine. We recently learned that it was mixed with wine, so how do we atone for that?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Sin occurs with knowledge, and if we do not know, we do not sin, but charity and seeking forgiveness are always recommended, and God knows best.
