Applying Vaseline to the Lips and Inside the Nose for the Fasting Person
What is the ruling on applying Vaseline inside the nose and on the lips while fasting? I feel dryness if I do not apply it, and does it break the fast if I taste some of the Vaseline in my throat?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If you feel the taste of Vaseline in your throat, you break your fast; otherwise, you do not, and God knows best.
