Apply ointment and its taste in my throat
If I applied ointment on my nose and performed ablution for prayer, and I felt that the taste of the ointment entered my throat, does this invalidate my fasting or not, and am I required to make it up?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If you feel the taste of the ointment in your throat, it breaks your fast; because the nose is a significant passage, and God knows best.
