Animals Permitted to be Killed

Question
I read in the book that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) permitted the killing of five animals, what are these animals?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Among the hadiths reported on this matter: From Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Five harmful creatures should be killed in the sacred and non-sacred areas: the snake, the spotted crow, the mouse, the vicious dog, and the kite." In Sahih Muslim 2: 856, and Sahih Bukhari 3: 1203. And from Abu Sa'id, may Allah be pleased with him, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The following can be killed by a pilgrim: the ferocious beast, the vicious dog, the mouse, the scorpion, the kite, and the crow." In Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3: 198, and he graded it as good, and in Musannaf Abdul Razzaq 4: 444, and in Sha'b al-Iman 5: 19. And from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The pilgrim can kill the snake and the wolf." In Sunan al-Bayhaqi al-Kabir 5: 210, its narrators are trustworthy, as mentioned in Fath al-Bari 4: 36.
