Adjacent Vessels, Some are Pure

Question
If someone has adjacent vessels of water, some are pure and others are impure, and he has no others, how should he proceed to perform ablution?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The vessels are either mostly pure, mostly impure, or equal in purity and impurity: If most of them are pure and the least are impure, then one should be cautious for ablution, washing, and drinking; because the dominant is like the nonexistent. If they are equal in purity and impurity, then one should be cautious for drinking, and perform dry ablution, and it is preferable to mix them or pour them out and then perform dry ablution; due to the absence of a purifying agent. If most of them are impure, then one should be cautious for drinking, pour them out, and perform dry ablution for ablution; because all of them are considered impure based on the majority. Refer to: Al-Maraqiy, p. 34, and God knows best.
