Acting on the Deceased's Will
A sister bequeathed to her sister to wash her when she dies, but the sister was unable to wash her because she contracted COVID-19. Now this sister is suffering psychologically because she did not fulfill her deceased sister's wish. What is the appropriate solution for her?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Acting on a will regarding matters other than money is preferable and recommended, and therefore there is nothing wrong with one who does not act on the will. She can do good deeds for the soul of her sister, as this holds great goodness, and God knows best.
