What is the ruling on acquiring musical instruments for the purpose of practicing Islamic songs?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Musical instruments of all kinds are not permissible, except for some like the daf and the drum during occasions such as weddings, pilgrimage, and jihad, and God knows best.
