Question
I have a question about the acidity that comes from the stomach. A few days ago, while I was sleeping and fasting, I felt acidity from my stomach in my throat. Out of fright, as soon as I woke up, I swallowed the acidic liquid. Do I have to make up that day?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Such acidity is a type of vomiting, and as long as it does not fill the mouth, and it is not intentional to induce it, it does not break the fast, and thus it does not break your fast, and you do not have to make up for it. God knows best.
