Acceptance of the Stolen Gift
Is it permissible for me to accept a gift if I suspect it is stolen, or should I return it?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: As long as certainty about the theft is not established, the gift is valid, and it would be pious to leave it out of doubt, and God knows best.
