Abstaining from Washing Hair Due to Hair Loss
My wife is suffering from hair loss, and the doctor advised her not to wash it too much with water. Is it permissible for her to wipe over it when performing ghusl from janabah? This issue has started to affect intimacy between the spouses, and she has begun to refrain from it for this reason.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: This is not an excuse for not washing after sexual impurity and for not responding to her husband in bed; rather, she must obey him and seek other solutions to the problem of hair loss, and God knows best.
