Ablution with a Barrier
I applied nail polish on my hands and then performed ablution for prayer without removing it for several days. What is the ruling on my prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Nail polish prevents water from reaching [the nails], and thus your prayer is not valid and you must make up for it for these days. And God knows best.
