Ablution and Ghusl with Nail Polish Present
What is the ruling for someone who applies nail polish and does not remove it for minor or major impurity, claiming that they are not convinced that nail polish prevents water from reaching the skin for ablution? Please clarify the ruling.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: this is a matter agreed upon; due to the necessity of reaching water to all parts of ablution and washing, including the nails. And God knows best.
