A girl wants to ask a young man through correspondence if he is interested in her, without getting too carried away in the conversation; because she hopes he will be her match. Is it permissible for her to do that?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible for her to do that; because it is a key to evils related to a relationship between two genders. If she wishes to marry him, she can have someone else mediate between them and inform him in an appropriate manner, and God knows best.
