I say, and with God's help: It is obligatory for the student of knowledge and the scholar to follow the school of thought. The common people follow the school of whoever gives them a fatwa and adhere to his words as long as they trust him. It is permissible for a woman to adhere to a school of thought in the rulings of Sharia that is different from her husband's school, and God knows best.
