Question
I worked for 30 years as a teacher, including 13 years in the Gulf. All the money I earned was spent on building, my children's education, and household matters, and there is nothing in my name. Now I have decided to keep my pension for myself. Does my husband have the right to prevent me from that and only provide for my food and drink?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Your retirement salary is your right to manage as you wish in a way that pleases God Almighty, and your husband does not have the right to prevent you from that. You should continue to do good to your husband and children, and all of this will be rewarded, and God knows best.
