A Well in Which a Dog Fell

Question
What is the ruling on the water of the well in which a dog fell?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If a dog falls into a well and comes out alive and does not die, it should be considered: If its mouth does not reach the water, it does not become impure; because the essence of the dog is not impure, but its saliva is impure. If its saliva does not reach the water, it remains pure. However, if the water reaches its mouth, it becomes impure; because the dog's saliva is impure. Refer to: Al-Maraqiy, p. 36, and God knows best.
