Question
Due to financial difficulties, I was forced to sell a piece of land I own in order to buy necessities for life. I have gifted one of my children a sum of money to help him with his marriage. Is this unfair to the other children, especially the daughters?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the payment to one of them is for an apparent need, there is no legal objection to it; as equal treatment among children in gifts is recommended, and God knows best.
