Wiping over the splint
My toe is broken and a splint is placed on it covering part of my foot. Is it permissible for me, after wiping over the splint, to wear a sock and wipe over the socks?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible for you to wash the foot and wipe over the foot covering, and you can achieve purity. If you wore the socks while in a state of purity and they are thick, it is permissible for you to wipe over the sock, and God knows best.
