Use of Nutmeg
In response to the fatwa regarding the use of nutmeg, there are studies that say it contains a narcotic substance, and what intoxicates in large amounts is forbidden in small amounts, and there is a fatwa declaring it as forbidden. What is your opinion on that?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: In our school of thought, we do not issue a fatwa declaring it forbidden, and God knows best.
