The Validity of the Ability of Jinn to Steal

Question
Can jinn move something from its place, and is it possible for them to steal something from human possessions?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: The theft of jinn from things is a possibility, and it has been established that the devil steals from the dates of charity; as in the hadith of Abu Huraira in Al-Bukhari: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) appointed me to guard the zakat of Ramadan, and a man came to him, and he began to scoop up food. I caught him and said: I will raise you to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He said: I am in need, and I have dependents, and I have a severe need. Abu Huraira left him on the condition that he would not return, and he did this three times. In the end of the hadith, Abu Huraira said: I said: O Messenger of Allah: He claimed that he would teach me words that would benefit me from Allah, so I let him go. The Prophet asked: What are they? I said: He told me: When you go to your bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi from the beginning until you finish the verse: Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence [Al-Baqarah: 255]. He told me: You will always have a guardian from Allah, and no devil will come near you until you wake up. They were the most eager for good, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, he has told you the truth, although he is a liar. Do you know who you have been speaking to for three nights, O Abu Huraira? I said: No. He said: That is a devil."
