Question
What is the ruling for someone who forgot to wipe their head during ablution and then got caught in the rain?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It becomes a person who has performed ablution; because the condition is that water must reach the head, whether by his action or without it, and this has occurred. The intention in ablution is a Sunnah and is not a condition for the validity of the ablution, so the validity of the ablution does not depend on the intention; because the nature of water is to remove and purify, and using it necessitates the attainment of purity even in the absence of intention.
