It is separated by prayer or by sitting, and the amount of separation between them is: in Fajr, the time it takes to read twenty verses; in Dhuhr, the time it takes to pray four Rak'ahs, reading about ten verses in each Rak'ah; in Asr, the time it takes to pray two Rak'ahs, reading about ten verses in each Rak'ah; in Maghrib, the time it takes to read three verses; and in Isha, as in Dhuhr.
